Baseline/BAU comparison for carbon benefit

I can't find anything in the documentation that mentions the BAU or baseline scenario used as a counter-factual when calculating carbon benefit. Do the tools in the AFOLU Carbon Calculator estimate carbon benefit based on the present scenario and present land cover only?
